Where theory meets practice
This project got its start at the height of the great financial crisis. The bailout was written for big banks and big balance sheets. The ones who created the mess in the first place. We focused on the households that are always left behind. We stopped performing for industry and started asking a simpler question: what does a household actually need in order to stay invested without getting ruined. This website was built after a stretch of real financial damage, not after a branding workshop. That’s how it got its start.
We do not cater to well-heeled hedge-fund managers, bank CEOs, or overpaid asset-gatherers. That is not an exercise in humility. It is the point. Those desks optimize for large AUMs (assets under management), career risk, and last quarter’s tracking error. We optimize for whether the capital you already have can fund the life you already live.
What we do is straightforward. We analyze the market’s record, then we determine if that signal is strong enough to overcome the noise. That’s it. We manage risk and volatility; we don’t shun it. We focus on results not marketing slogans because real markets don’t care about narratives, neither should you.
We are not in Wall Street’s inner circle. We don’t need to be, we don’t want to be. The work we do isn’t selling a lifestyle brand; it’s building a moat around your personal portfolio.
Our objective hasn’t changed. The method has. Financial independence on your terms. Join the research, stay for the journey. Theory meets practice when your portfolio survives a market downturn, pays a steady income, and pays the family mortgage.
If all of this sounds good to you, then JOIN US! We’ll see you on the other side.
What we publish is the work we actually run.
Financial independence is the objective. Solvency is the constraint. We make sure you have both.
